Clowning is about embracing your flaws, owning your ridiculousness, and finding the freedom to be utterly, gloriously stupid. Society teaches us we must get things right, to hide our mistakes—but clowns do the opposite. They celebrate failure, find joy in being bad, and break free from everyday constraints. By embracing your inner idiot with optimism and sensitivity, you unlock boundless creativity, laughter, and play. Dan is an multi award-winning clown comedian and has taught clowning and physical theatre all over the world and regularly teaches in the UK at the National Centre for Circus Arts, London Studio Centre and East 15 drama schools in the UK. He studied at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
